Welcome to Wasted Wadi Wanderers Hash House Harriers (W3H3)
We are a community of runners, walkers, and wanderers who love exploring trails, sharing adventures, and building friendships along the way.
At W3H3, every trail is a new story — sometimes through winding wadis, sometimes along quiet streets, and often with a few surprises in between. Whether you’re a seasoned hasher or just curious to try something new, you’ll find an inclusive, energetic, and welcoming group ready to lead you off the beaten path.
The Wasted Wadi Wanderers Hash House Harriers (W3H3)was founded on May 1st, 2025 by Twat in the Hat, Shaga Zulu, and Spy in the Sky located in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman—a city where rugged mountains meet the sparkling coast.
So lace up, bring your sense of adventure, and join us as we keep the spirit of fun, fitness, and fellowship alive. All are welcome to wander with us!

A Message to Wanderers
Whether you’re brand new to hashing or a seasoned hasher with trails under your belt, you’re always welcome at Wasted Wadi Wanderers Hash House Harriers (W3H3).
For newcomers, we’re a friendly bunch who love to explore, laugh, and discover paths less travelled — no experience needed, just a sense of adventure.
For long-timers, W3H3 is your home away from home: familiar shouts, playful traditions, and trails that keep the spirit alive.
So come along — run, walk, or wander at your own pace. Every step with us is about camaraderie, stories worth retelling, and being part of something bigger than the trail itself.

History of Hash House Harriers
The Hash House Harriers (HHH)started in 1938 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, founded by A.S. Gispert and friends. The name came from their club, nicknamed the “Hash House” for its basic food.
They modeled the runs on the British “Hare and Hounds” paper chase—mixing exercise with social fun. Activities stopped during World War II, but were revived in 1946.
From the 1960s, hashing spread worldwide, reaching over 1,500 clubs in 180+ countries
